How to get to Alaçatı: İzmir Airport to Alaçatı by Havaş bus, taxi, transfer or car
How to get to Alaçatı from İzmir Airport by Havaş bus, taxi, private transfer or car, from İzmir city and from İstanbul, with parking and getting around.

How do you get to Alaçatı? Fly to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB). From there the Havaş airport bus reaches Alaçatı in about 75 minutes; you can also come by taxi, by a private transfer booked ahead (we suggest Welcome Pickups), or drive the toll motorway İzmir–Çeşme. No metro or train goes to Alaçatı; from İzmir city, Çeşme Seyahat buses do.
İzmir Airport to Alaçatı by bus: Havaş buses leave from the arrivals exit of both the domestic and the international terminal and take the İzmir–Çeşme motorway to the stop "Alaçatı Terminali (Pazar yeri karşısı)", opposite the market place, then on to Çeşme bus station. They run several times a day, from early morning to late at night; back to the airport via Urla takes about 100 minutes. Times change by season: our home page shows the current ones, and so does Havaş. Taxis and dolmuş minibuses wait at Alaçatı Terminal.
By taxi: licensed taxis wait at the arrivals exits of both terminals; in İzmir the meter adds a per-kilometre charge to a starting fee. By private transfer: the easiest is Welcome Pickups, booked ahead; they meet you at the airport, with a choice of vehicles. We chose them for their reliability; we take no commission. By car: the İzmir–Çeşme motorway (O-32) is a toll road paid by HGS tag; Alaçatı is the last exit before Çeşme.
From İzmir city: Çeşme Seyahat buses leave from the Üçkuyular (and Fahrettin Altay) terminals and stop in Alaçatı. City buses (ESHOT 984 to Urla, then 760 to Çeşme) also work, but slowly. There is no metro to Alaçatı: İzmir's metro runs from Narlıdere Kaymakamlık to Evka 3 and the İZBAN suburban train from Aliağa to Selçuk; neither reaches the Çeşme peninsula. Take the metro to Fahrettin Altay and change to a bus there.
How to get to Alaçatı from İstanbul: flights from İstanbul to İzmir take about 1 hour 15 minutes, then continue as above. By car, the İstanbul–İzmir motorway over the Osmangazi Bridge (about 3.5 hours to İzmir, says the highways authority KGM) joins the İzmir–Çeşme motorway. Or take İDO's car ferry from Yenikapı to Bandırma (about 2 hours) and drive on south; sailings change by season.
Parking: the hotel has no car park of its own. Around it there is public parking, including on our street, and private car parks; write to us on WhatsApp before you arrive and we will tell you the best place. On summer weekends and holidays the peninsula gets very busy (over 98,000 vehicles entered Çeşme by the motorway during the nine-day holiday in April 2024). Getting around: the old town is for walking. The Çeşme–Ilıca–Alaçatı dolmuş links the towns, and dolmuşes to beaches such as Altınkum leave from Çeşme bus station.
